CONCEPT

Branding for the Illinois Women Artists Project consisted of starting with a logo and then creating items that could be used for their organization. I wanted to visually represent their name so that the viewer knew what they did without having to fully read the organization’s title. This led me to using icons in various ways for the logo, and then ultimately leading to an abstract version of a figure of a person and paint brush.
